Point of View is a Mumbai-based non-profit organization that promotes the points of view of women through media, art and culture. Our work is pivoted around sex work, domestic violence, sexuality, and HIV/AIDS.

Our initiatives include:

• Photo-exhibits such as In Black & White, which explores freedom through women’s eyes, Beyond the Cuckoo’s Nest, advocating the rights of the mentally ill, and Dharavi: Fantastic Land, which reframes the lives of the urban poor
  
• Documentary videos including In The Flesh, and public service ad campaigns such as Feeling Safe and Colour Your Dreams
  
• Performances including Women Can’t Wait! and Waking the American Dream by award-winning New-York based actress Sarah Jones
  
• Publications such as Unzipped and XX/XY, promoting the voices of those living with HIV and people in prostitution
  
• Interactive curricula such as Body Talk, which explores beauty and advertising, and Gol Maal, a board game on gender, rights and sexuality.
  

Established in 1959 with world-famous filmmaker Satyajit Ray as President, the main objective of the FFSI is to spread the film society movement in the country and to thus create aware audiences for better cinema.

CREA, a not-for-profit organisation founded in the year 2000, aims at empowering women to articulate, demand and access thier human rights by enhancing women's leadership and focussing on issues of sexuality, reproductive health, violence against women, women's rights and social justice.

Open Space is an initiative of the Centre for Communication and Development Studies (CCDS), a social change resource centre that uses strategic, innovative communication processes to inform, initiate and inspire change in societal attitudes and public policy. Open Space encourages discussion, debate and action on social justice, sustainable development and human rights.

Swayam is a Kolkata-based women’s organization committed to fighting violence against women and children. Swayam provides holistic support to women facing violence in their lives, and aims to empower them by reinforcing their beliefs in themselves. The organization also questions established norms and values that have deemed violence against women acceptable.
